Umpire
"Umpiring can be extraordinarily rewarding for a number of reasons. Foremost among them is that as a Little League® umpire, you serve the children and families in your community. Also, as a volunteer umpire, you gain an even deeper knowledge of, and appreciation for, Little League. Once you start officiating games you gain an entirely new perspective on the role umpires play in the Little League experience."
We would love to encourage anyone who would like to become an Ump, or anyone thinking that they may want to pursue it, to register with the Little League and receiving training.
To register to become an Umpire, you will need the following:
-A valid Driver's License
-Ability to pay the $5 Background Check Fee
-Adult Abuse Awareness Certification
Follow the links below to get started.
A $5 one-time annual processing fee will be applied to submit the background check, but for that cost the umpire can choose to share their information with any league and district to view their volunteer application and background check results. Please be sure to share your information with us, Hagerman Little League.
By registering with the Umpire Registry, you will also gain access to:
· The latest information on rule updates/interpretations
· Umpire mechanics training videos & manuals
· Information and registration for available training programs
